What I offer

As a doula I’m there to ‘mother the mother’ - to take care of you so you can take care of your baby. and to help you find a peaceful space to bond and grow together. This is very flexible as everyone needs different things. Essentially I’m there to help you feel comfortable, nourished and supported in the early days with your baby when everything is new, you are still raw from the birth and you are getting used to your new role as a mum. The list of things I do can never be finite but it generally includes:

  • Help to plan your post natal journey

  • Feeding support to help you and your baby thrive

  • Emotional support while you consider your birth experience, adjust to your new hormones and embrace your role as a new parent

  • Sole charge while you sleep, shower, rest or just have a bit of time to yourself

  • Baby care including bathing, nappies, baby-wearing and so on

  • Signposting you to appropriate health professionals or additional support if required

  • Cooking and meal planning so you have good food and nourishment

  • Light household support with laundry, changing sheets, general tidying, dish washing

  • Shopping and errands

  • Help with older siblings if applicable

  • Accompanying you to appointments if you would like me to

  • Various other bits and bobs depending on what you need on the day!

    How does it work!?

It’s easy! Use the contact form to get in touch with me.

We’ll have a chat on the phone about what kind of support you need and then arrange a free visit or zoom call so we can get to know each other and explore in more depth what will help you the most.

Finally we’ll book in appointments for me to come and start helping you thrive as you begin the wonderful journey with your newborn.

My hourly rate is £27.00 - £30.00 and there may be a additional charge for travel depending on where you live.
